Gourmet Restaurant in Port Colborne

First time ordering from the new place with no expectations to be blown away by flavour or quality. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with what we Recieved. We started with the lemon chicken, which had the texture of a yoga mat with the flavour of run over cat. The sauce for the chicken had the consistency of water and all the lacking flavour of lemon. We had an order of beef and broccoli that was edible but that's to say the least. The veggies were basically raw and the rice was bland to the tenth degree. All in all disappointed with Ming's Kitchen.

Some of the best and HEALTHIEST fast food around. Lunch specials are affordable and are served with brown rice...no MSG which is a big deal for me... my new weekly favourite. Thanks :)

Our family just enjoyed a New Year's eve lunch at Ming's Kitchen. The food was very tasty and served fresh from the kitchen. Not overloaded with salt and soy sauce. The newly revamped interior is clean and modern. The staff are pleasant. We are very excited to have a new Asian food restaurant in Port Colborne. Good luck! We will be back again.

Ming's in Port Colborne (old Gourmet)What I liked;Sweet and sour pork was awesome, the Snow peas beef was great (veggie heavy) The chicken lo-mein is awesome (if you want old style Gourmet lo-mein, I guess you have to order the chow mein) Lemon chicken and jadoo chicken wings were also good.What I didn't like;The rice is horrible lol no flavor and it's sticky rice... Could use some improvement.Overall, I would order again!

Ordered food from Mings on new years. We thought it was the previous owners. Disaster. Each item was 3.00 more per item. What use to cost sixty was now 90. Food was bland, tasteless, overcooked. Never again

Worst Chinese food Iv ever had.

Always have had good food here. My wife and I have been many times since they opened. Some of our favorites include the sweet and sour shrimp, fried rice and udon noodle dishes. Amazing..

Ordered pad Thai take out. If I had been at the restaurant I would have sent it back. No color, no veggies, tasted like lemons. Chicken was rubbery. I tried to eat it but couldn't. What a waste.

The girl that picked up the phone was very kind and the food delivered quick. The meal was very tasty.

Terrible. I had to send the pad Thai back. It tasted like ketchup. I ordered general tsos chicken and chicken fried rice to replace it. The chicken was okay, at best. The rice was so bland, and had barley any chicken in it. My egg roll was burnt.

We ordered the Dinner for 6. Restaurant was very clean, well set up for take out and great food. All was hot, fresh, and well seasoned. Will be back in the future. Friendly and courteous service as well.

Please have a third party go over your menu and help you replan it with new recipes and cooking methods. The noodle in the Cantonese chow mein was mostly hard and crunchy. My family and friends agreed the fried rice had the taste of sewage. The rest of the dinner for 6 tasted amazing: that's why I am writing this review. Please make the desperately needed changes. I'd like to have another Chinese restaurant in town with good food. Please advertise the new menu after to bring everyone back. Don't want to see this one go down in flames.

I love won ton soup! There's was really good and a generous size for the large. the bag of noodle chips were just store bought it seemed. All the plates were very fresh and most delicious. The inside has been nicely renovated and very tidy. prices were competitive.

Really fresh and tasty! Great for vegetarians (try the general tao tofu!). Great service.

Just ordered from here for the first time, and I've lived in Port Colborne for almost 9 years. The place is nice and clean. Clean open kitchen. The food is fantastic. Everything was fresh, and full of flavour.Highly recommend!!!

This is a weekly treat for me and my colleagues. Mings will not disappoint in flavor, freshness and customer service. If your in Port Colborne and have not had Chinese takeoff from Mings you are serious missing out. It will soon be your favorite in town.

Worst Chinese food ever .chicken low main no chicken veg.s nothing n great big noodles chicken wings threw out small n could not chew so burnt..n chicken fried rice no chicken n so so dried

We ordered take out 2 combination plates, sweet and sour chicken balls and a wonton soup!! Everything was delicious and hot! Definitely recommend!

Fresh and flavorful. Great portions. Order dinner for 3. Feeds family of 4 with plenty of leftovers. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely order again.

Bad food. Very small portions. No longer any decent chinese food in port colborne. Great wall of china in crystal beach is where its at.
